Plateau State PDP Chapter Accuses High Court Staff of Unethical Practices

The Peoples Democratic Party Plateau State chapter, on Wednesday approached the state high court seeking an order to restrain the plateau state government from going ahead to appoint yet another set of transition committees for the local government councils. This was contained in a press release signed by the state publicity secretary John T Akans.

The statement which  also revealed that on reaching the state high court, the court staff were nowhere to be found including the document filed by the PDP.

The party described the inglorious disappearance of the papers as a deliberate and desperate attempt to further deny the good people of plateau state the fruits of democracy at the third tier of government which has been the hallmark of the Lalong led administration since July 2015 when he sacked democratically elected local government council officials.
