Fresh concerns are being raised by stakeholders in Plateau state over the continued retention of state commissioners by Governor Simon Lalong.
Public opinion questioning the competence of the commissioners first arose during the Governor’s second year anniversary, in May this year, when many stakeholders rated his administration low over non-performance.
The poor performance of the Governor was largely attributed to the failure by members of his cabinet to properly coordinate the activities of their various ministries in a way that will enable the government deliver on the dividends of democracy to the people.
Some members of the public who spoke with JAY FM in Jos on the issue on Thursday called on the Governor to sack the Commissioners or have them redeployed in order to save the state from further embarrassment and redundancy occasioned by the ruling APC administration.
Correspondent JAMES ABRAHAM reports that the seventeen Commissioners were sworn-in into office on the 18th December ,2015 more than six months after Governor Simon Lalong took over the mantle of leadership of the state.
