PLATEAU PDP EXECUTIVE COUNCIL FLAYS LALONG FOR BORROWING 42 BILLION IN TWO YEARS

The State Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau state has condemned what it called “the retrogressive actions of the state Governor Simon Lalong’’, which it said, has left the state underdeveloped expressing concern that in the last two years, the APC  administration has borrowed over N42 billion without any tangible result to show for it

 

The Party equally condemned the decision of the Governor to revoke contracts on the on-going jobs awarded by the previous PDP government in the state describing it as anti-people

 

The PDP spoke during its state Executive Council meeting held at the party’s  secretariat in Jos, according to a statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary, John Akans

 

Akans said the SEC meeting attended by party leaders and stakeholders ,however, noted with excitement the outcome of the  leadership crisis in the party with the now settled position that the PDP is now one and stronger with victor or vanquished

 

The PDP image maker further said that the SEC meeting equally noted with gladness the party’s determination to unite the people and restore the lost glory of the state and called on all members to work together at all levels for the continued progress of the party
