Anti-Corruption: #BringBackDiezani Daily Sit-Out hits Abuja on Monday

Following recent mind-boggling allegations of corruption and wanton looting of public funds against the former Minister for Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Allison-Madueke by EFCC, organisers of the #ResumeOrResign protest is set to begin a #BringBackDiezani campaign calling for the immediate repatriation and trial of the Ex-minister.

The campaign is headed by Charles “Chaley Boy” Oputa and Deji Adeyanju.

In a statement made available to JOURNALIST, the group said it is unimaginable that the Federal Government is not pushing for Allison-Madueke’s extradition to face punishment for her alleged crimes.

The statement reads “In this light, we will be holding a 2-day sit out in front of the EFCC Headquarters to demand that the Federal Government applies for her extradition and prosecution in Nigeria. We will also be highlighting the level corruption at the Central Bank of Nigeria.”

The sit out is expected to hold Monday 28 & Tuesday 29 August 2019, between 9am-10am daily at the EFCC headquarters, Wuse 2,
