The Plateau State High Court presided over by Justice Daniel Longji resumed on Friday on the deliberation of the N6.3bn fraud trial leveled against the former Governor of the State Jonah Jang by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.
Justice Longji read the 17 count charges against Jang and his co accused bordering on allegations to misappropriation of funds belonging to the state government while serving as governor, to which they pleaded not guilty.
Pwajok Counsel to Jang therefore applead to the court to maintain the earlier bail granted the accused to which EFCC opposed.
Justice Longji however decided to recall all the witness in line with the plea of the defense counsel.
He therefore adjourned the case till the 30th and 31st of October and 1st of November for the recall of witnesses and continuation of hearing.
