Following a review of the submission guidelines for forms obtained by aspirants of the PDP, it has become necessary to postpone the return of the completed form of the former governor of plateau state Jonah David Jang for the Presidential race
earlier scheduled for Thursday 6 September 2018. A new date will be communicated in due course.
In a statement signed by the Presidential Campaign Director in Plateau State Professor Shedrack Best the party regrets any inconvenience this may cause to its teeming supporters and party men and women.
Recall the immediate past governor of Plateau State formally declared his intention to contest for the seat of President on the platform of the PDP on the 28th of august 2018. Jang said his ambition to contest is to restore the country to the founding dream, hope, aspirations and perceptions of greatness which the country was known with.
Speaking, at the PDP Secretariat in Jos, when he presented a letter of intent to the party, the Senator who earlier told his constituency to shop for a viable replacement for him at the Senate in 2019, stressed he was out to give the country a purposeful leadership.
