Peoples Democratic Party senatorial aspirant for Plateau North and former Chief of Staff Government House, Francis Bot on Wednesday continued his campaign tour of the six local Government Areas that make up the zone with a visit to Jos East and Jos South Council Areas
During the tour, the former chief of staff met with delegates and people of the localities.
He also met with party leaders and elders to seek for their support.
On each meeting with stakeholders, Francis Bo who was accompanied on the tour by notable personalities including the former Minister of Water Resources,Sarah ochekpe, and the former National Assembly member,Bitrus Kaze, among others assured the people of his preparedness to serve their interest if given the mandate to represent them at the national Assembly come 2019
At Jos East Local Government Area, the former Chief of Staff and his entourage paid a condolence visit to the Agwom Izere of Izere nation, His Royal Highness,Isaac Wakili, who recently lost his daughter ,Mary
The Senatorial aspirant also used the opportunity to intimate the Royal father of his intention to represent the people of Plateau North at the upper chamber of the National Assembly
The Agwom Izere who thanked his guests for the visit described Francis Bot as the right man for the job having known him and his track records
However, the campaign tour of the former Chief of Staff was not without an incident in Jos East as some political thugs attempted to disrupt his meeting with delegates at the PDP council secretariat .
The thugs who were allegedly organized by a younger brother to one of the Senatorial aspirants from Barki Ladi were ,however ,resisted by party faithful who condemned the incident.
