Police warn criminals to steer clear in Plateau

The Plateau state police command has warned criminals operating in the state to steer clear or face the full wrath of the law.

The warning came just as the State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka paraded a total 18 suspects for various offences   at the command’s headquarters in Jos at the week end.

The offences for which the suspects were paraded ranged from armed robbery, kidnapping, illegal possession of fire arms, impersonation among others.

The Commissioner said in view of the foregoing, the Command enjoins members of the public to remain vigilant, security conscious and continue to maintain the strong synergy with the police and other security agencies through volunteering of credible information that would lead to the arrest of criminal elements on the Plateau.

According to him, The Command has emplaced adequate security arrangements that will guarantee the security of lives and properties in the State adding that the fight against criminals in the state is total.
