APC replaces Omisore with Fuanter and postpones NEC meeting

The National Secretary of All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore has been officially replaced with the Deputy National Secretary of the party, Festus Fuanter.
Fuanter, from Plateau State, officially assumes his new position as the acting national secretary today.
The announcement was made by the new Acting National Chairman, Senator Abubakar Kyari, shortly after the crucial meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC at the party secretariat today.
Addressing journalists, Kyari confirms that both Omisore and the erstwhile National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, are no longer part of the APC leadership hence according to the Constitution of the APC, he is now the acting national chairman of the party.
The chairman also states that the proposed National Caucus and National Executive Committee, NEC meetings slated for Tuesday the 18th and Wednesday the 19th of July have been shelved.
