Lagos businesswoman Lara Olukotun, aka Larrit, has reacted to Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe’s revelation of what caused the altercation between both of them at a recent event in Lagos.
Aigbe, who claimed that Olukotun had attacked her unprovoked, noted that she was an acquaintance who suddenly became an enemy.
But Olukotun, in an Instagram post on Tuesday noted that she had issues with Mercy Aigbe due to the actress’s attitude in her (Aigbe’s) marriage to movie marketer, Kazim Adeoti.
According to Larrit in a lengthy post, she was against how Aigbe dared Adeoti’s first wife by publicly calling herself ‘Aya D’owner’ which Larrit perceived as disrespect towards Adeoti’s first wife.
Olukotun faulted Aigbe’s “audacity to disrespect, show off and display different indirect signals” following her marriage to Adeoti.
She said, “You daring the other woman on what can she do and calling yourself ‘Aya d owner’ – the husband that belongs to another woman that has four kids for the same man you married – is what I stand stood against.
“If that is my crime to have offended some people, I say it here publicly that I’m not sorry,” the businesswoman said.
