The President Evangelical Church Winning All ECWA Rev. Steven Panya Baba has called on the Federal and state government to end the repeated attacks on some communities of Plateau State, stating that the repeated attacks on some communities in the state has been worrisome.
While condemning the latest attacks on some communities in Miango Bassa Local Government area of Plateau State that claimed many lives and houses burnt, Baba said that the establishment of state policing will help in the fight against the increasing number of security threats facing the state and the nation.
The ECWA President said this during a visit to Jebbu Miango to assess the level of damage caused by the attacks and to donate 350 bundles of roofing sheets and 10 bags of clothings to the affected communities.
He encouraged affected persons to remain firm in their faith and rely on God in these difficult times.
On reaching the Brra rigwe palace, Baba sent the message of hope and comfort to the entire Irigwe nation on behalf of ECWA and the entire body of Christ
The Brra rigwe, Rev. Ronku appreciated the ECWA executives for their prompt concern and love for the Irigwe nation, noting that the donation will help in rebuilding Miango communities greatly.
In the same vein, one of the affected persons in the community, Moses Bulus, said the latest attacks on his community in Miango has resulted in the entire community of Jebbu Miango to flee for their lives.
Another affected resident, Angela Yusuf said livelihood has been grounded in her community; as thousands of people living here are now scattered around towns and villages.
