The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC says it will appeal the judgment of a Court of Appeal sitting in Asaba, Delta State which restricted its operations to only federal roads and banned its officials from state and local government roads.
Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, in a statement by FRSC spokesman, Bisi Kazeem, faulted the ruling, saying the implication of the said judgment is that their personnel would not be able to attend or rescue crash victims on roads other than federal roads.
The statement further notes that the Corps will seek stay of execution as well as appeal the case involving FRSC and Darlington Ehikim.
