Governors battle to end sit-at-home in Southeast as Kanu denies involvement

The Ondo State acting Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has disclosed that the state is targeting to realise a sum of $2 billion after the ongoing investment summit in the state.
The three-day summit tagged Develop Ondo 2.0 Investment Summit, which began on Monday, is organised by the state government in partnership with the Niger Delta Development Commission and other stakeholders.
Declaring the summit, holding at the International Culture and Event Center, Akure, open, the acting governor says the programme is organised to woo investors to the state and tap into the human and natural resources the state is endowed with.
Aiyedatiwa explains that the summit among other things serves as a platform to connect stakeholders from diverse sectors for accelerated development in the state.
