Group Petitions EFCC To Investigate, Prosecute Plateau Speaker, Abok Ayuba, Over Corruption Allegations

The ongoing so-called petition circulating online about the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly has again shown how narrow-minded some people are.

The writer’s intent of the so-called petition is a campaign of calumny against Speaker Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba because why describe the darling of Plateau politics as ‘embattled’ while there is nothing of such at the moment.

Plateau sons and daughters have high esteem for Speaker Abok because he stood with his people unlike someone who has been bewitched and is against the interests of his people. Same person that been embarrassed and humiliated by his colleagues with the recent one happening just yesterday at the ongoing NBA Conference in Port-Harcourt.

The said petition has breached our laws because plagiarism is a serious offense. The petitioners lifted from the petition a group wrote about the financial dealings of the Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker: Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa. This is just to show how the writer lacks educational but has become a pawn that doesn’t have a mind of theirs.

Speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba is/has been a shrewd businessman who stops at nothing to ensure he doesn’t do anything illegal that is against the law of our country.

For a petition alleging this huge fraud against the Speaker, only one name was mention and a simple internet or Google search proves that the group is nonexistent.

How the gibberish circulated so fast especially on WhatsApp has again bring to attention the threat of fake news. The intent of a fake or malicious news item is basically to malign or to write in such manner that will stir anger which leads to hating the accused without listening to their side of the story. Every story they say has many sides.

Speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba should not be discouraged because lovers of good conscience are solidly behind him.

The so-called petition is in line with the ongoing plot to illegally impeach the speaker but this move by the powers and principalities will be resisted. They should bury the idea and focus on rebuilding their fast-failing party that even Gov. Nyesom Wike described the chairman of Northern governors’ forum, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong as the leader of APC faction in Plateau State.
