Gunmen allegedly kill 14 persons in Plateau communities

An alleged fresh attack has reportedly left no fewer than 14 people killed in Bwai and Chisu communities of Mangu local government area of Plateau State.
According to one Citizen Bamshak Ishaya, the incident occurred late yesterday when residents had gone to bed and the attackers swooped on them, burning homes and properties.
The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Mangu LGA, Markus Artu, told journalists that he is going on an on-the-spot assessment of the situation.
However, the State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
