Gunmen kidnap Nasarawa deputy governor’s driver

Gunmen have kidnapped Daniel Ogoshi, the driver of the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe.
It was gathered that the driver was abducted from the residence of his friend in Lafia, the state capital, on Tuesday.
His phone and car were left behind by the bandits.
A family friend of the victim, who confirmed the incident says it was unfortunate, noting that he received a call that his brother had been whisked away by the kidnappers.
Recall that a former deputy governor of the state, Professor Onje Gye-Wado, was recently kidnapped and released after a ransom of about N4m was paid to his abductors.
