House of Representatives back privatisation of 4 national refineries

The Police Service Commission has ordered four Deputy Inspectors General of Police, DIGs, to proceed on compulsory retirement.
The affected DIGs are Dan-Mallam Mohammed, Moses Ambakina Jitiboh, Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa and Adeleke Adeyinka Bode.
The commission, in a statement by its spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, says the directive was in exercise of its statutory powers.
Also, the police commission approved the appointment of four Assistant Inspectors General of Police, AIGs, to the rank of DIGs.
