HURIWA accuses security forces of compromise in Plateau state

The Human Rights Writers’ Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, is accusing security forces in Plateau state of ‘collusion and compromise’ in the fight against insecurity in Plateau state.They body says the calculated genocide on Plateau people is one the Federal Government had failed to arrest under the counter-terrorism law of Nigeria despite terrorist wielding sophisticated weapons that Nigerians are not allowed to carry.Plateau state has been faced with a series of terrorist attacks with the latest being that the death toll of a deadly Friday attack in Bokkos local government area rose to 20 after the initial 13 as 7 persons taken to the hospital for treatment gave up the ghost.
