the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has sacked two of its staff members for allegedly forging some documents.
JAMB named the dismissed workers as: Mr. Bilyaminu Ishaku and Mr. Andrew Candidus, from the board’s Benue State Office in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
In a statement by its Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB says the dismissal took effect from February 27, 2023.
The board also notes that the dismissal was in line with the Public Service Rule, which defines serious misconduct as a specific act of serious wrongdoing and improper behaviour, which is inimical to the image of the service.
