JUTH staff seek better welfare as hospital gets new CMD

Staff of the Jos University Teaching hospital have called for a better welfare for it’s members following the exit of a former Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Professor Edmund Banwat.
Jay FM reports that the hospital staff carrying different placard with unprintable words had celebrated the exit of Banwat as CMD describing his eight year tenure as a disaster
During the protest-like celebration ,the Secretary of JOHESSU, JUTH branch, David Atu, said they were happy because the tenure of the former CMD had ended saying that during his reign, staff welfare was not prioritised while the fortunes of the hospital known for execllence deteriorated to a disturbing level .
The labour leader called on the new Acting CMD,Dr Pokop Bupwatda not to follow the style of the former CMD in administering the hospital.
Jay FM reports that the new Acting JUTH CMD was the Chairman,Medical Advisory Council of the hospital before his appointment to the new position
