Kachikwu’s Letter: Group Demands Suspension Of NNPC GMD

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project has demanded that President Muhammadu Buhari, suspends the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Maikanti Baru pending the outcome of the investigation.

Executive Director of SERAP, Adetokunbo Mumuni, on Thursday, requested that the president direct the anti-graft agencies to swing into action.

The group’s chief further stressed that the allegations made by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu could undermine this administration’s commitment to fighting corruption.
