A call has gone to the people of Miango Community and the Irigwe nation in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state not to lose hope in the face of the incessant gunmen attacks in the community,but to remain united and work together in order overcome the challenge.
Chairman of Miango Youth Development Association, Yakubu Nuhu Chayi made the call at the week end during the inauguration of the newly elected members of the association.
The chairman noted that though the people are heart -broken and deeply in pains for losing loved ones in the hands of the terrorists who had continued to ravage their villages,he expressed the hope that the people will surely bounce back, and even more stronger just like the children of Israel did after many years in captivity in line with God’s promise to them.
He said that Miango Youth Development Association under the newly elected executive will remain resolute and work closely with the government, religious bodies, NGOs and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the people survive this trying moment including COVID -19 that the whole world is faced with.
The new Chairman also called for cooperation and support of the people to enable the association achieve it’s good intentions for the good of all
