Nigerians call on government to improve country’s fortunes as Tinubu clocks 100 days in office

Written by on September 5, 2023

Our correspondents Teniola Adeniyi and Happy Jimam took to town to get a feel of what some citizens make of his performance so far.

According to some Nigerians, the removal of fuel subsidy on petroleum by the President has resulted in the hike in prices of goods and services which has affected all facets of the economy including the education sector.

According to them, the only positives are the appointment of Service Chiefs and a relative improvement in the security sector.

They further berated the handling of palliatives meant for the poorest of the poor in the country, saying it was a miscalculated step by both the Federal and State governments.

They are therefore calling on the President and all governors to pay attention to the areas of job creation and bolstering the economy.
