Ogun University suspends exams after student’s killing by suspected cultists

Following the killing of a final-year student in the Ogun University yesterday, the management of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State has suspended the school’s ongoing second-semester examination indefinitely.

Newsmen reporting on the circumstances that culminated to the incident say the victim, identified as Olaoye Fabiyi was dragged out of the examination hall by suspected cultists while writing his final papers by some unidentified men.

In a statement released today, the school’s Deputy Registrar, Babatunde Odugbesan, says all examinations on the campus have been suspended indefinitely.
