Plateau governorship tribunal sets to deliver judgement tomorrow

The Plateau State Governorship Elections Petitions tribunal has fixed September 22 for judgement on the petition filed by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate during the March 18 election.
The candidate of the APC, Dr. Nentawe Yiltwatda is challenging the victory of Governor Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party.
A member of PDP’s legal team, Barrister Sunday Odey confirmed the judgement date to journalists in Jos the State capital yesterday.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had declared Mutfwang the winner of the poll.
Similarly, the tribunal had earlier dismissed the petition filed by the governorship Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Alfred Dabwan against Governor Mutfwang.
