Plateau residents react over Shetima and El-Rufai’s alleged secret visit to Jos

Ahead of the decisive exercise, residents of Plateau state are berating the visit of the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima and the Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on the eve of the Saturday’s Governorship and state assembly elections.
The duo and some other prominent members of the ruling All Progressives Congress party, reportedly sneaked into the state in what has been described as an entry to perfect mechanisms for the party to ensure it secures victory.
However, some citizens who spoke to journalists from different parts of the state noted that it was unthinkable for them to abandon their states and assemble in Plateau as they also have elections to be conducted there
Speaking further on the matter, some residents say the resolve of Plateau people was been put to the test, and as such, they would make their voices heard loud and clear through the ballot.
The governorship election in Plateau state is one of the keenly contested across the country, with many experts designating the state a key battle ground.
