Plateau State commissioner of information lauds Jay 101.9 Fm’s role in protecting Plateau heritage

The role of mass media in nation building and advocacy is vital to the growth and development of every society.
It is in light of this that the Plateau State commissioner of information, Honorable Musa Ashoms, singled out Jay 101.9 Fm for praise and applause when the management team, led by the MD/CEO, Comrade Clinton Garuba paid him a courtesy call today, Thursday 10 August, 2023.
The Commissioner says having clocked seven years, JayFm had endeared itself to the people of Plateau State and Nigeria because it has continued to stay on the side of truth, justice and equity.
He says having worked at JayFm, he is well poised on a higher platform to give a good account of himself and the values the media outfit holds dear to heart.
In a remark, the MD/CEO of JayFm says they were on the visit to congratulate the commissioner, who is “one of us” and to give him the full support.
He regrets that the past commissioner of information in the state did not live up to the expectations of his office.
He maintains that JayFm will collaborate with the Commissioner of information to stand by the people of Plateau whenever injustice is metted to the people.
