Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbemiga Adesina discloses major operational breakthroughs and achievement records within months.

The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbemiga Adesina, is saying the command has made a major operational breakthroughs and achievement record within the last few months.

He made this known at a press briefing today in Jos, where he explained that, through the multifaceted strategies employed by the Command and the prudent utilization of human and material resources, they have sustained the prevailing peace being experienced on the Plateau.

Adesina reports the arrest of suspects of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and culpable homicide, one Mohammed Baya, of Pankshin Local Government Area, conspiring with one Muhammed Saidu, Zaradeen Ibrahim and Abiola Ahmad, to steal an alleged sum of One Million Naira, and killing their victim, and another Mangede Musa, of chip district who reported an attacked and robbery of the total sum of Three Million Naira, amongst many others.

He also reveals repelled kidnap attempt and neutralization of suspects, giving a tip off to the Plateau State Commands on information at the Daffo Police Outpost revealing that, hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers invaded the house of one Franklin Osita, of Fangha Daffo District, a swift response from the Pankshin Division neutralized two of the hoodlums, while others escaped with various degrees of bullet wounds, with recovery of several exhibits, among many others.

The commissioner of Police however, states that investigations are currently ongoing and all suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion.
