Plateau state as the Government is faulting the Police Commissioner in the state, Julius Okoro, for reopening the sealed 17 Local Government secretariats for the suspended chairmen to have access to.
The Attorney General of the state, Philimon Daffi, faulted the move at the end of an emergency Security Council Meeting presided over by the Deputy Governor of the state, Mrs. Josephine Piyo.
You’ll remember that Governor Caleb Mutfwang had on June 1st, suspended all democratic structures in the 17 local government areas of the state and appointed Transition Committee Chairmen.
The suspension followed the recommendation of the State House of Assembly over allegations of financial mismanagement by the suspended chairmen.
