Plateau Tourism Corporation assures residents of safety as hyena escapes from wild life park

A hyena has reportedly escaped from the Jos Wildlife Park, however the General Manager of Plateau state Tourism Corporation, Honorable Chuwang Pwajok is urging the general public not to panic, assuring that the wild animal which escaped from its cage at the park is currently being tracked by their dedicated team of game guards & Park Rangers with the assistance of drone technology.

The General Manager also dismissed insinuations that the hyena escaped from its cage as a result of hunger saying that such era of poor treatment of the animals is gone for good.

Pwajok is also requesting the public to remain calm and avoid any approach to the hyena if sighted even as he calls on the people to notify the park authorities immediately on 09026927620 & 09131000945 if the animal is spotted.
