The Nasarawa State Police Command has banned all forms of protests across the 13 Local Government Areas of the state.
This was contained in a statement made available to journalists by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, in Lafia.
According to him, the move by the command was to forestall the breakdown of law and order in the state.
Recall members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state including women and youth groups have been protesting since last Monday.
The protesters are demanding that the Independent National Electoral Commission reviews the 2023 governorship election which saw the incumbent Governor, Abdullahi Sule, emerge as winner of the poll.
