Residents in Plateau state Express Worries over Frequent kidnapping of citizens in the state

Residents in Plateau state have expressed worry over the frequent kidnapping of citizens in the state and called on the security agents to stop the ugly incident.
The residents made the call on Monday while speaking with Jay FM in Jos.
They were reacting to the kidnap of a former chairman of Shendam LGA, Kemi Nshe. and Dr Monday Hassan a lecturer with the Plateau state University, who is also the chairman of the Institution’s branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
Jay FM reports that the two persons, who were said to be friends were kidnapped by gunmen at the Shendam residence of the former Council boss over the week end.
Some residents condemned the incidents said a situation where innocent citizens are forcefully taken away from their homes by criminals deserves the utmost attention of any serious government.
While calling on the residents to be vigilant everywhere they find themselves, the respondents insisted that Government and the security agents must rise up to the challenge and protect the people from further abductions
