SpeakLife Initiative Launches Project CARC19

As part of its mandate to spur individuals towards social growth and development, a Non-profit organization SpeakLife Initiative lunches a project Tagged, Climate Actions: Responding to Covid-19 (CARC19).
According to a post on its official Facebook page SpeakLife Initiative, hopes to use climate action to mitigate the adverse economic effects of COVID-19 by planting economic fruit trees while engaging in weekly webinars to discuss Covid-19 and Climate Change with experts.
The Project lead and founder of SpeakLife Initiative Nankpak Cirfat, says the project is to empower 60 individuals across the six local government areas in Southern Plateau State with economic trees which in the long run will serve as a source of food and finance for their households.
Mr Cirfat also noted that through webinars the initiative will be hosting, it hopes to engage the perception of the general public to make sense of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.
SpeakLife Initiative was conceived in 2012 with the mandate to spur individual cognitive and learned potentials for societal growth and, the organization has carried out projects and programs and as well partnered with Change Makers Initiative and The Micheal Oasis Foundation to carry out projects.
