Stefanos Foundation Visits IDP, Donates Relief Materials

As part of efforts to provide support for victims of attack on the Plateau, a charity organization, Stefanos Foundation has donated food items and other relief materials to victims of the Christmas eve attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau.
Donating the valuables to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Chairman in that Local government, Reverend Stephen Asugum, the Program Coordinator, Stefanos Foundation, Engineer Mark Lipdo, describes the attacks as nothing but genocide against Christians.
Receiving the food items on behalf of the IDPs for onward distribution, Reverend Asugum revealed that they have lost about 400 members from the attack as some who sustained injuries died in hospitals.
They are therefore calling on government to intervene in the situation to ensure that perpetrators of the heinous attacks face justice and citizens return to their ancestral homes.
Some of the food items donated by Sefanos foundation are bags of rice, beans, millet, sweet potatoes, over hundred tubers of yam, seasoning cubes, 14 kegs of palm oil and groundnut oil among others.
