Seemingly addressing workers’ outcry over the current national minimum wage set at N30,000, the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has promised a living wage that guarantees a decent life.
In a post on his twitter handle, Tinubu says in the Nigeria he shall have the privilege to lead from May 29, workers will more than have a minimum wage.
The President-elect assures the nation’s labour force that their fight will be his fight because he will always fight for them.
Tinubu says he and Nigerian workers all have a common battle to wage against poverty, ignorance, disease and disunity, one which we must win together.
