UniJos Students Protest over increase in Tuition Fee
Written by News Desk on January 11, 2024
In another development, some students of the University of Jos are protesting over an increase in tuition fee as the university management is said to have restricted some of the students who did not pay the fees from writing the ongoing examination.
One of the students who spoke on anonymity says they pleaded with the school management to give them more time as they claim a memo concerning the fees was only released about four days ago.
They say the short period given to them is not enough for their parents or guardians to meet up, as they also claim some of them have automatic carry overs because they were not allowed to write examinations.
Videos making the rounds show the presence of personnel at the protest ground.
More details on this development will come up subsequently.
