Unijos students-leaders frown at mooted tuition increase

The student’s Union Government President of the University of Jos, Longmun Dakon, has expressed displeasure over the planned hike in school charges the school management.
During a live appearance on JayFm’s flagship programme, Nigeria at Sunset, he stated that increasing the current tuition fee from N45, 000 to N150, 000 for returning students as disclosed by the management will throw them out of school.
Dakon also points that the present condition of the school hostels needed so much attention, calling on the authorities and government to renovate the facilities.
He says the SUG was consulting with all stakeholders to be more considerate in its decision.
