WINNERS OF THE FIRST EVER PLATEAU NORTH PEACE, UNITY AND RECONCILIATION FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT GET MOUTHWATERING PRIZES.

The Rwang Pam township Stadium was agog with football lovers from all walks of life who trooped in to witness the grand finale of the first ever Plateau North Peace, Unity and Reconciliation Football Tournament Powered by Senator I. D. Gyang Esq.

The Plateau North lawmaker donated cars and cash to the winners of the football tournament which is hinged on Peace, Unity and Reconciliation.

The competition had the participation of all the 73 electoral Wards of Plateau North Senatorial District which saw Rafan Ward of B/Ladi LGA clinch the first position with the star prize of a mini bus, four Million, Three Hundred Naira, while Jenta Adamu got a mini bus, two million, nine hundred thousand Naira, the team from Jengre Ward came third and went home with one million, two hundred Naira only and other consolation prizes.

The local organising committee had One Million Naira as show of appreciation from the Senator while Players, teams and supporters that performed credibly well also got cash as a moral boost. This was inclusive of gestures from skipper Ahmed Musa and Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, Deputy Speaker House of Representatives.

The Chairman of the occasion, Senator Ahmed Lawan (Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria) was represented at the finals by the former Governor of Benue state Senator Gabriel Suswam of Benue North East Senatorial zone congratulated Senator Gyang and Plateau North for a successful hosting.
