Zhibo Digital to Train Few Victims of Job Loss Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic

According to the World Bank, 45% of the workforce across Nigeria lose their jobs. In response to the increase in unemployment, Zhibo Digital is implementing digital literacy training funded by ConnexUs & Search for Common Ground for a few people who lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic and are now looking to reset their plans by pursuing new career opportunities in the digital economy.
The intense boot camp tagged Digital Skills for Social Good (#DS4SG) intends to cover the rudiments of digital marketing such as digital marketing strategy, content marketing, social media management, search engine optimization, media buying, email marketing, data analytics & reporting, growth hacking and web design.
These modules will be facilitated by proficient digital marketers and new media experts including the Co-Founders of Zhibo Digital and ConnexUs Influencers for Change, Joey Shekwonuzhibo, & Johnstone Kpilaakaa. Also, the seasoned digital marketing consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Benny Capricorn Digitals, Amama Benn Benedict, Yusuf Ahmed, a Digital Skills Trainer and Co-Founder of SKYHub, and Zhibo Digital’s digital marketing lead, Esther Ivy Felix will also be facilitators.
Only 10 slots are available. Since the training would be held in Jos, applicants will be selected based on location. As well as, their accessibility to a laptop for practical sessions. At the end of this boot camp, participants would have free access to a website and internship placement. Free internet would also be provided during the training.
